I'm in the Air Force and just to let everyone know, there is a lot more Atheists in the military than people think. Five of my friends are Atheists and most of them work with me. That is just the people I know. I'm sure there is a lot more.

I wish I could. That would be awesome. Unforntunately, I'm stationed in Texas and getting leave and money for travel isn't easy. I'm just glad that I found this website. It's been a lot of help for me. It's been so much easier to talk to my friends and family about being an atheist now that I have found this website. The more I talk about it the more people I find who are atheists.

As a veteran, (http://maaf.info/expfeature.html#chadhetman) I'd like to remind everyone to keep an eye out for so called "veteran memorials" that are really religious monuments in disguise- usually stating things such as "For those who died for God and country", "God Bless America", "One Nation Under God", etc. These are offshoots of religious ceremonies/services conducted on Memorial and Veterans Day(s)that may or may not also include demonizing Atheists with lies such as "There are no Atheists in foxoles". An Army Chaplain said that to the media once and I put him in his place: http://maaf.info/oped-hetman1.html<br />
So please look into this in your state, county and town.<br />
